Transition from the transition town concept of low-carbon and sustainable communities. The town I live in isn't a transition town, yet, so we're transitioning our house and lifestyle.

Thrifty and frugal
On the run up to Christmas 2008 my husband, Craig, was using the words "thrifty" and "frugal" a lot. That wasn't usual. Something was definitely up. Peak oil, climate change and the credit crunch were all playing their part ... read my first post.
